Alice Update: 4 Months

I can’t believe my baby girl is turned four months old last week! When people say that time flies, they are TOTALLY right!

Here’s some updates on our baby girl:

Weight:

14 lbs! (in the 60th percentile)

Height:

24.5 inches! (also in the 60th percentile)

Nicknames:

Bub, Bubbington (because she reminds us of my great-grandmother, or Bubbie), Little Best, Bestie, Little Girl, Winston Churchill (only when she looks chubby in her selfies lol)

Clothes:

Alice can fit into some 3-6 month clothes and the occasional 3 month outfit, but mostly, she is wearing 6 month clothing. In fact, I had order a whole bunch of 3 month clothing for her a few weeks ago, and I’m going to have to exchange them since she hasn’t worn them yet and has already outgrown them!

Sleep:

Typically, Alice goes to bed between 8 and 9 and wakes up once during the night to eat. Amazingly, one day last week, she slept for 7.5 hours straight. That was a rarity but hopefully a sign of things to come!

Likes:

Eating, music, movement, the Muppets on Sesame Street, cherry-flavored Tylenol and her stuffed bear, Hobbes

Dislikes:

Her carseat–boy, does she hate being restrained!

New Milestones:

Alice is talking up a storm! Not actual words, of course, but her baby babbles are just too cute!

Linking up with Jessi and Jenn for WHW!

  1. She is SO cute!! It’s amazing how fast everything goes! I feel like from 4 months on they really start becoming more aware of their surroundings, and it just increases with each passing month. Now my 8 month old is sitting up and trying to crawl, and totally interested in everything going on around her!
