Five on Friday

Five on Friday

Happy Friday to you all! This week has been REALLY busy, but I promise that part 2 of Alice’s birth story will be posted next week. In the meantime, if you would like to read part 1, then click here!

Onto this week’s Five on Friday! This week, I’m celebrating 5 posts that I thought were really fantastic 🙂

“Is Writing for Blogs Dead?” from Dream Big and Buy the Shoes

I know what you’re thinking…of course blog writing isn’t dead! But it is true that a lot of people think that blogging is “out.” Thank goodness for folks like Emelia, who still share their life stories and product recommendations in their daily blogs! There have been so many instances where a blog post has really spoken to me, and I feel like I’ve gained a world of new friends in the blogging community. Don’t let blogs die–keep on writing, everyone!

“Teacher Tuesday–Funny Stories Part II” from Momfessionals

You guys, this post is just too too much! I was literally laughing out loud from the hilarity of these stories. I taught for years, and I still have a mental portfolio of funny stories from all of the kids that I taught. Start your weekend right with a good laugh and read this post!

“Instagram Roundup” from Southern Curls and Pearls

Caitlin always looks absolutely incredible, and I would just die for her wardrobe. But I’m pointing out this particular post because it encouraged me to buy the same hat that she bought for her pooch, Winnie! I can’t wait for Linus to be snuggly warm in this cold weather!

“Our Wednesday + Toddler Battles” from Peanut Butter Fingers

I love reading stories about Julie’s life with her little cutie Chase, but this week’s post is one that I’ll save for the future! Julie gave such great ideas for how to distract her son during activities of which he is not fond (i.e. diaper changes and getting in the car seat). My 4 month old is already not a fan of the car seat, but I can only imagine how hard it will be to get her in there once she has the strength to try and get out! Julie, thank you so much for these ideas–I’ll let you know if they work 2 years from now!

“So Fresh and So Clean” from Momfessionals

Andrea’s blog is featured twice in this post because I could not pass up the opportunity to marvel over her organizing skills. I mean, come on, how much do you want that craft closet?!?!? Andrea, I am HIGHLY impressed (and jealous).

Have a great weekend everyone!
